Great Homes Limited has been officially informed that the company is to receive an award in the prestigious Daily Mail UK Property Awards 2007 for its Windsor Court development in Singleton, near Ashford in Kent. The full extent of this success will be revealed at a glittering gala dinner at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Friday, October 5.
The fact that Chafford Hundred-based Great Homes Limited has earned one of these coveted awards for the second time, the first for its Sandringham Court development in Hadleigh, Essex, is sure proof that the company can not only compete but also triumph within the highly competitive UK property arena.
Having been given this high recommendation by its peers, the company will be entitled to display the Daily Mail UK Property Awards’ logo with pride. This symbol of excellence will be recognised and appreciated by the public who are becoming increasingly well informed and discerning about the properties they seek to buy.
Entries were judged by a panel of professionals whose collective knowledge of the property industry is second to none and unsurpassed by any other property awards. Chaired by Eric Pickles, British Shadow Secretary of State, this year’s judges included Imtiaz Farookhi, chief executive of the National House Building Council; Peter Bolton King, chief executive of the National Association of Estate Agents; and Phil Spencer, property expert and presenter of Channel 4’s Location and Relocation TV shows. m/f
David Sparks, managing director of Great Homes Limited, says, “We are delighted that Windsor Court has been recognised as an award-winning development by such illustrious experts in the world of property, and that we as a company have been honoured again in the Daily Mail UK Property Awards.”
Windsor Court, which is based on the environmentally aware designs of Sandringham Court named ‘Best Essex Development’ in a previous Daily Mail UK Property Awards event, comprises 46 one and two bedroomed apartments designed exclusively for buyers of 55 years and over. Among Windsor Court’s features are a residents’ lounge with adjoining conservatory, landscaped gardens, a buggy store, lift to all three floors and a free internal telephone system.
The building is protected by state-of-the-art safety and security features, including a CCTV entryphone system that allows for only known visitors to gain access to the building, 24-hour emergency support and careline facilities provided by specialist management company Peverel, and a duty manager. Collectively they are designed for residents’ complete peace of mind.
“Our aim is always to create high specification homes that provide our residents with a safe and secure environment, and we are delighted that this has been recognised at Windsor Court in the Daily Mail UK Property Awards,” says Mr Sparks. “We now eagerly look forward to learning more about the full extent of our success.”
