Highlands, the prestigious new development of 23 high specification retirement apartments in Main Road, Gidea Park, Essex, was unveiled last weekend – much to the delight of the many retirees who have already expressed an interest in securing one of the beautiful new homes.
The long-awaited sales suite where visitors can see a show apartment finished in an exciting combination of terrain colours by local interior designer Sarah Nicholson, plus a partly dressed sales office, launched on March 8. Highlands, a handsome building that echoes the Arts and Crafts style of architecture found in Gidea Park, has been designed exclusively for buyers of 60 years and over. Each apartment at Highlands affords a layout designed to maximise on space, with one or two bedrooms depending on which style is chosen located off a private hallway. There’s an elegant white bathroom complete with a vanity unit and heated towel rail. Some apartments even have an ensuite to a bedroom, and all have the convenience of a separate shower. A spacious lounge and dining area, and a beautifully presented kitchen complete the layout.
Each kitchen is fitted with wood ‘peach skin effect’ units that are delightfully soft to the touch, topped by quartz stone worktops.
